Friction’s artistic practice has always been firmly imbued with a social consciousness that ensures projects such as REALITY ESTATE pose important questions about the process of development and regeneration in large cities.
This project will indicate that it is possible to create high impact projects that have not been parachuted on to a community but born from long term work that can leave a legacy which can be built upon for future generations.
